I grew up in the wild beauty of northern Maine and have since lived in Vermont, western New York, and North Carolina. Recently, I returned to my childhood home in Aroostook County, where the woods are deep, the winters are long, and stories practically grow out of the soil.
For the past twenty years, I built a career as a strategic consultant. But through all the boardrooms and spreadsheets, one passion kept tugging at me: writing. It’s been my constant hobby, the place I always returned to. Now, I’m leaning into the craft with fresh focus, shaping the kinds of complete stories I’ve always wanted to share.
My early attempts at public writing came with mixed results: a poem that once earned me a standing ovation, a short play that… decidedly did not, and a stack of short fantasy fiction submissions that gathered polite rejection letters (all of which I’ve kept, lovingly, in a big binder).
In September 2025, I released my debut novel, Kin of Fae: The Returned Child. With a more seasoned voice—and a lot of Maine forest atmosphere behind me—I’m excited to finally bring readers into the worlds I’ve been carrying all along.
