Dark folklore meets modern New England again in the next installment of the Kin of Fae series.

I suppose it’s not all that much of a reveal. As I wrote about when I designed the cover for the first book, the only new elements are the title and the icon. But it’s all part of a plan. I think the matte hardcover for Book One turned out gorgeous, and I want all the books in the series to match as a set on the shelf.

I’m getting increasingly excited about Book Two as I carve my way through the second draft. These beautiful little character moments keep surfacing—unexpected, emotional, and often giving me goosebumps as I write. I’m feeling more confident this time around, especially in weaving together a larger cast. The world is expanding, and it’s been a joy to see how the new and returning characters collide in unexpected ways.

To share some of that excitement, I’m posting three teaser chapters (links below).

Why only three? Because these are early moments in the story—and they’re honestly the most I can share without spoiling events from Book One. These chapters introduce some new faces, and I can’t wait for you to meet them.

Take a look—and if you like what you’re reading, I’d love for you to check out where it all began with Kin of Fae: The Returned Child, available now on Amazon.
